We are currently recruiting for a highly motivated, hard working and punctual Electrician’s Mate to join our Company. This will be a great opportunity for an Engineering (or similar) Student looking for some crucial experience in the trade.

You will be required to work between 2-3 days per week, depending on fitting around your studying requirements. This will be discussed with you if your application is successful.

It is preferable that you live within a 10-15 mile radius of Farnborough College of Technology and/or Aldershot.

• Assisting the electrician on site with basic duties including but not limited to carrying out first fix, fitting and installing electrical components, chasing out channels for conduits to be ran, pulling cables through joists etc
• General labouring work whilst getting hands on experience
• General tidy up work on site

You must be able to drive and hold a valid driver’s license in order to travel to various site locations. If your application/CV does not mention anything about holding a valid driver’s license then it may be discarded.

• A fuel card will be provided for mileage
• We will supply all PPE, Uniform and will support any training
• Annual leave entitlement included

We are looking for someone who can start at the beginning of October – this will be an excellent opportunity for the right, hardworking and positive thinking candidate who is eager to learn.

• Level 2 City and Guilds Qualification or Engineering equivalent is a MUST requirement. Please ensure qualifications are clear when you apply.
• Previous skills with tools is desirable however training will be provided

• Normally 8 hours per day
• Rate of Pay £6.56 per hour
